Since beginning operations in 2005, CGH Constructions has established strong working relationships with architects, tradespeople and subcontractors to deliver high-end bespoke architectural homes.
We take the time to carefully plan and prepare every project before construction begins, ensuring efficient workflows and budget-controlled solutions.

Cullum Hughes
Cullum Hughes, owner of CGH Constructions, was raised in a family of builders. Following in their footsteps, he completed his carpentry apprenticeship in 1996, obtaining his Certificate IV in Building. He then went on to study a Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring in Construction Management, and graduated with Honours from QUT in 2000.
Before founding CGH Constructions in 2005, Cullum gained invaluable experience working with large construction companies and internationally in both Aspen and Japan.
Cullum has led CGH Constructions through two decades of sustained growth. His consistent involvement in operations ensures high levels of client satisfaction and meticulous craftsmanship, which has contributed to CGH Construction’s s reliable and positive reputation within the industry.
Our Team
At CGH Constructions, our team is the foundation of our success. With over 30 skilled carpenters, apprentices, and dedicated office staff, we bring the experience and capability needed to deliver high-quality builds from start to finish.
Our site supervisors play a pivotal role in ensuring every project is completed to the highest standards, with a strong focus on quality and precision.

Cullum Hughes
Cullum Hughes, the owner of CGH Constructions, was raised by a family of builders. Following the path of several family members before him, Cullum completed his school years to then go on to finish his carpentry apprenticeship in 1996. He acquired his Certificate 4 in building to then further his education at QUT by studying a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Construction Management graduating with honors in 2000.
Cullum worked in a large construction company for two years before heading overseas. He worked in the construction industry’s in both Aspen and Japan. After returning to Australia, in 2005, Cullum established CGH Constructions. Today Cullum is a father of four children, and while CGH Constructions continues to grow in size, the home environments he creates are all custom built and designed with each unique family in mind.
